Abstract

The Stop LAPD Spying Coalition is a grassroots group working in Skid Row to build community power and challenge surveillance and policing. Universities and the Police is a product of their academic complicity work group. The zine is an introduction to the coalition’s work, a recruitment tool for students interested in joining the fight against policing, and an inspiration for organizers to start similar work in their communities and campuses.
